About Us
In the light of the spirit of 1984 Los Angeles Olympic, sports management got into a whole new era. Furthermore, with the growing of leisure industry, Sports and Leisure Management Preparatory Committee was set up in 1988. Then the Graduate Institute of Sports and Leisure Management was established in August 1999, which is the first Taiwan graduate school in sports and leisure managemant. In response to the need for continuing eduaction of the time, Master program for on the job training was also former chairpersons, Prof. Chun-Chi Wang, Dr. Jin-Long Chen, Dr. Shao-Hsi Chang, and current chairperson, Dr. Jui-Fu Chen, as well as dedication of the entire faculty, the Institute has grown to be the thriving institution that it is today.
